will my LG chocolate KG800 (korean) work with a prepaid SIM card in Hong Kong

will my LG chocolate KG800 (korean) work with a prepaid SIM card in Hong Kong?
My American phone is an LG chocolate KG800, made in Korea, and currently uses/holds a SIM card that has the little 3G symbol on it. Will this phone be able to work in Hong Kong if I buy a prepaid SIM card there? I don't know all the stuff about frequencies and what not. Thanks! :) KG800s if it makes a difference KG800s if it makes a difference

Hi there, Phones in Hong Kong do use sim cards, and it should work fine in hong Kong. You just need to make sure your phone is not sim locked. Best would be to check in the store you bought it or with your carrier. If it is not simlocked/carrier locked, you are good to go.
