Sure. It's easy, work on the street or in shops. You just need to be over 18.
5 :
no
6 :
yes but it would be hard
7 :
Anything is possible. : )
8 :
Sure, learn to speak Chinese and go get a job there as a taxi driver or something...
9 :
Anything is possible, but you are aware that our economic hardship is effecting the rest of the world. It is a global recession. Jobs in some fields are scarce everywhere. Figure out what you want to do. See if there is a job market for that particular trade. If so, get training and go for it. Learning the language would be a requirement I'm sure.

This is the dilemma that I faced a couple of years ago. I came to the conclusion that HK will eat you alive if you don't have enough money. I decided to get a degree first. That's why I'm not there now.
11 :
You will have to work hard.
12 :
well,i think it depends on what kinds of work you wanna get? There are different kinds of level jobs, seldom foreigner especially white guys would do the cheap jobs such as like seller, taxi driver etc,but i think it's not so hard for them to get a job here as long as u r a native speaker,u could work as a English teacher, that's the very popular job for foreigners, and some school or teaching associations would love to hire foreigners to teach students. Why not Guangzhou, there would be more job opportunites, and there are a lot foreign trade company, coz i am here now.Good luck.
13 :
i have no REAL lungs but would love to breath, is it possible?
14 :
you need to learn catonese first and you can work as a maid if you have no qualifications.
15 :
No qualification = no good job = no money = struggle.
16 :
Probably not.
17 :
it's obvious you didn't take into consideration those people who have "real qualification" and would love to work in HK too... there is no way you can compete with them...

yes they do work my friend has one that she got on e bay from hong kong there is no difference it works completely normal
2 :
Yes, phones purchased in Hong Kong can work in US, but only with GSM providers, such as AT&T and T-Mobile. Also, if you buy a smart phone, the 3G band on your phone purchased in Hong Kong will not necessarily be compatible with the 3G bands on AT&T or T-Mobile. Otherwise, the phone can still use the slower 2G or 2.5G internet connection.

Hi there, Phones in Hong Kong do use sim cards, and it should work fine in hong Kong. You just need to make sure your phone is not sim locked. Best would be to check in the store you bought it or with your carrier. If it is not simlocked/carrier locked, you are good to go.
