Will a game I bought from Japan or Hong Kong work on my American Nintendo DSi

Will a game I bought from Japan or Hong Kong work on my American Nintendo DSi?
If I wanted to buy a game from a website like Play Asia because it is released in Japan before it is in the US, would it work despite the game and console belonging to different regions?

Hi! Should do I would think - but I would suggest getting the WII softmodded as you would then be able to install apps such as Backup Launcher Gamma and GeckoOS which would let you region free your WII enabling you to play UK or any other region games on it.

Ok an I phone is 3g quad band and should work all you have to do is find out which provider you are going to use and and call them they will have to unlock the phone for the places it will be used it. they give you a code to unlock it and it should work you need to call the service provider and tell them what you are wanting to do and they will help you.
