I tried to verify the phone number for the yahoo auction in Hong Kong, but it didn't work all the time. I live in USA. I didn't receive the sms from the yahoo HK and they just request me to try again next day. Please help. I would like to do shopping in the yahoo auction.

Anything in China and HK is risky. Remember the customs duty to be paid when / if the item arrives. Pay by credit card to get some protection.
